Permaculture Work Parties

For any members wishing to experience some practical Permaculture and also get help with a task of their own, the group’s ‘Work Party Scheme’ is highly recommended.

Work Parties Lunch Break Photo As much a social event as physical work, the work days take place once every six weeks. The venue is determined on a rota basis. The projects so far have been varied such as native tree planting, sorting out a shed, creating a wind break, turning a compost heap, weeding, planting comfrey etc.

One group is already up and running. We are hoping to get at least 6-8 more people together to form a second group. If you have an interest in helping others, are free for a day or half day at weekends once every six weeks then please contact Mill.

All the work tasks will fit to the Permaculture ethics of Earth Care, People Care, Fair Shares.
